Vanilla Oatmeal Cold Process Soap

This is a freshly made loaf of Vanilla Oatmeal Handcrafted Artisan Cold Process soap. It has a vertical embed of a contrasting tan color down the center of the loaf. Once cured, the base should turn a rich, dark chocolate color due to the vanilla fragrance. Ground oatmeal is incorporated throughout the loaf. Moisture rich ingredients include oils of olive, coconut, palm, sunflower, castor and sweet almond, along with shea butter. It is finished off with soap curls and shreds in contrasting colors, then sprinkled with a dusting of copper and gold micas.

Can't wait to see what it looks like when cut!

Mardi Gras 2012 Soap Coming Soon!

Each year we make a special edition Mardi Gras soap. Our 2012 edition is currently curing.

Mardi Gras fragrance starts with fresh citrus top notes of grapefruit, orange zests, and tangerine;  middle notes of strawberries, apples, pears, rose petals and jasmine; with sexy bottom notes of vetiver, white musk, and ylang ylang.

Here is a sneak preview while it's still in the mold.......
I used a funnel swirl technique, which should give it nice rings of color throughout, when cut. Then it is finished off with a linear swirl on top. It is made with olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, and sweet almond oil. It will be a gentle, moisturizing soap.
